Walking Bird

Don’t wanna be a walking bird

That never learned to fly

Who ‘s heard all  that needs to be heard

But never touched the sky…

Running ‘cross another line

With pathos in my stride

Dodging danger that’s not mine

On  a barren, hot roadside….

When flying’s what I’m made for

My right and privilege

Wanna  give a better meaning

To living on the edge…

Don’t wanna be a walking bird

That never learned to fly

Who ‘s learned all  that needs to be learned

But never touched the sky…
