Holy Fruit

In the garden fruit is growing

A crop that has not rerached its prime

There is produce that grows slowly

And fruit that tipens in god's time

Ther's a vinedresser that would prune desire

And cut back the wild branch and the briar

His Spirit carefully tends the root

Until the garden bears much fruit.

Patience, kindness, goodness,

Faithfulness, gentleness,

And self control

To become like Christ is our holy goal!

AIn changing we find purpose

Through growth we bear much fruit

And in the harvest time we show

The ends of our pursuit…
