Downfall

I am a sinner I admit

But to your will I would submit

And to your way I now commit

So I may transmit truth and grace.

To gain life I must lose it

And the narrow way  I choose it

Temptation- I must refuse it

And fall down on my face.

I fall down and you lift me up

You give me a crown  cause you drank my cup.

I fall down and you lift me up

You give me a crown  cause you drank my cup.

In our downfall we receive peace

Lifted up when we bend the knee

At the crossroads of eternity

As we cast ourselves upon His grace

When we are down we lift our gaze

If we set our sights on scenes of praise

We shall see sights that shall amaze

As we seek Him from this place

I fall down and you lift me up

You give me a crown  cause you drank my cup.

I fall down and you lift me up

You give me a crown  cause you drank my cup.
