Jesus Hold Me Now

Jesus hold me now, let your arms enfold me now

Your word has told me how you love me so and even though

I was lost in sin and couldn’t begin to seek you

You sought me first, amen , amen…

I’m lost in wonder, lost in love

Not lost within this world

You’ve led me out to realms above

And given me new birth

All the small and insignificant things become windows

Through which the light of Christ now bleeds

To dispel darkness, illuminate our understanding,

and speak to our deepest needs.

We will praise the Lord, we will bless his name

We will rise and stand holy, without blame

For what he’s worked in us

The will in which we trust

We will praise the glorious

The righteous and the just

We will magnify

Lift his banner high

As to ourselves we die

As His spirit fans the flame

For you are the ruler-

in righteousness you reign

Our voices shall burn high

Alight with holy fire

Become our one desire

Oh Jesus stake your claim

On us all
