Armor of Light

Darkness is falling all around

Falling fast and deep

So seek the Lord where He may be found

While the wicked world shall sleep

For the night is almost over

The day is within sight

So put away the deeds of darkness

And put on the armor of light.

Protected preserved and shielded

In an armor that cannot be pierced by night

A shieldÝ a helmet and buckler

A sword and a spear for the fight

Preserved and protected by armor

Bearing witness of the victory in our sight
