When Jesus died upon the tree

the God Man truly died

And the work he did on Calvary

to every believer is applied.

For God sent His son as the only one

That could do the work that sets us free.

And we can live forevermore because of Calvary.

At the cross where the lamb for sinners was slain

He became sin and he bore all our blame

But the lamb stand up and he lives again

And is worthy to bear the name

The name above all names!

Oh Lord Jesus, Oh Lord Jesus,

Exalted Lamb who died,

Oh Lord Jesus, Oh Lord Jesus,

For sinners crucified

And so we are satisfied.

Now in you we abide!

For God sent His son as the only one
