Channel of Mercy

In a channel of mercy Godís omnipotence flows

My life is in his hands

Iíll never believe, no Iíll never suppose

That on grace I can make demands.

My will wonít be done unless it is one

With the will of the Lord of hosts.

So let the cross, the blessed cross alone

Be our only boast!

For itís a channel of mercy

It flows and overflows
In this channel of mercy

Godís power shines and shows

It starts at GodísÝ throne and flows to Calvary

And it flows on through Jesusí grave

It flows on to Resurrection

For our God is mighty to save!

SoÝ be swept up in this flowing river

And be lost in its wondrous waves
