Come Oh Comforter

To this broken barren earth

There is One whoÝ comes to rule and reign

The angels now declare His birth

ThisÝ One who turns our loss to gain

Come oh Counselor show us the way

We will listen to what you say

We wonder at your words of grace

Come and meet us in this place.

A sin sick world at war with God

Spins in the darkness of the night

Turning , turning, turning away

From all that's good and true and right.

Come oh Comforter give us peace

Give us rest and sweet release

By your fiery advent in our times

Come and ease our troubled minds
