Holy embrace

We are sure we are safe

Held secure in our faith

As we run this race of grace

Held within His Holy Embrace.

We are separate, set apart

But we are precious to your heart

We are aliens and strangers

and through many toils and dangers

God protects us and sets us apart.

In but not of this world we abide

And by God in Christ we know we hide

Sojourners and pilgrims walking stride by stride

For in Christ and His cross we are crucified!

We are sure we are safe

Held secure in our faith
