I Need Your grace

Is it important to me to be a holy man?

To be one counted worthy- to champion God's plan?

Is it importantÝ to me to keep my thought-life pure?

To take every thought captive, to make my calling sure?

Do I press ever upward or just settle for less?

Do I glorify my lord or forget to confess?

I need your grace to overcome

This battle with my sin.

Lord I need your grace to do it

Do I forget so easily - the battle that I'm in/

Do I keep my armor on or just cave in to sin?

I want to be a godly man, my loving Lord to please

Not give in to worldly ways - pleasure comfort and ease
