I am never alone

I am never alone

I must learn as I sojourn that I am not my own

To be strong all the journey long and this pathís not one Iíve known

But my travels in this alien place

Make me no stranger to His grace

Bought with a price and running this race

But I know as I travel on that I am never alone

The Lord who is my guide

In Him Iíll hope and hide

And Iíll journey till my journeyís done

While in my Lord Iíll confide.

My hope and only confidence

Is in the way where one repents

As we journey here in Babylon

This world is not our home

A citizen of heaven above

Whose only lawís the law of love

But by that love weíre eíre constrained

A remnant kept from glory or gain

Strangers and aliens we journey long

Whether few or millions we sing out song

As a chorus of faith throughout all time

As the stairway to heaven we climb.

We wander and we wonder

Torn asunder as we ponder

This world is not our resting place

Falling headlong onto grace.
