Restore Us

Restore us oh God of our salvation

Restore oh God the soul of our nation

Let righteousness and peace kiss and embrace

Lovingkindness and truth meet together by grace.

The Lord will give what is good

When we turn to the Lord as we should

He will withhold his judging hand

Surely his salvation is near

Surely it comes to those who fear

That glory may dwell in our land.

We see living corpses all around us

Dead though living on earth

Weíll stand in the gap to intercede

Declaring your marvelous worth

The saved in power hear him speaking peace

Cleansed as we trust and weíll see our sin cease

His righteousness will go out before him to remove his wrath

And his footsteps are made into a straight path
