As sure as a man's born a man surely dies

As sure as the rain's gonna fall from the skies

Sure as the Light's gonna fall on my eyes

My Lord will be true to his word I surmise

Sure as the sun's gonna rise

The promises of Father God are faithful and true

He always keeps his word, what he says, he will do.

Just as sure as morning comes His promises are new

Sure as the sun's gonna rise

His word's full of wonder, his word is wise

Because he is faithful there'll be no surprise

Sure as the sun's gonna rise

There'll be no reason to compromise

There'll be only truth and there'll be no more lies
