The Battle

The Battle

We will walk by faith and not by sight

We will walk together as children of light

We shall see the darkness flee

As we bend down on our knee

And we revel in the Word that makes us right

We will walk by Godís will and His command

We will rest on the rock and not on shifting sand

Thought your mercyís overflowing

I am blessed when I am knowing

I walk worthy in the grace by which I stand

Oh itís not by chariots or swords

In Godís righteous name the battle is the Lordís

So weíll march or we will fight

By the power of His might

In His armor as we see his wrath outpoured.

For in the strength of His right hand

Salvation cometh by the blood of the lamb

And when itís said and done

We shall surely overcome

And in victory we see our fortressÝ stand.
