Trust You

When the storm is raging and surrounds me

And when the darkness falls upon my eye

You send your angels to encamp around me

Nothing separates us even though i may die

When the ones who love me have bereft me,

You will not forsake me - for together we abide

When my friends turned their backs and left me

You reached out with tender arms and drew me to your side.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Lean not on your own understanding

In all your ways acknowledge him

And he will make your pathway straight

Trust in the Lord, Trust in the Lord!

Trust Him in the small things where you want to take control

Trust Him in the unseen things- your heart and mind and soul

Trust Him with your life and youíll bring honor to his name

We declare Him worthy to lay claim

To all our trust- In God we trust!

Trust Him by his power we will stake our claim

To be our portion evermore from age to age the same!

We revere and rely on you matchless name

For this life is a vapor only life in you is true!

We trust in the promise that you will never change

And even though you slay me yet I will trust in you

I will trust you for you are faithful and true

I will trust youÝ for you alone will see me through

I will trust you as I live and move and find my being in you

You do just what you said you would do
