Turning, Turning

Turning, Turning

464

I turn my face from the world and have no regrets

I turn my face away and I want to forget

All Iím turning from and

Remember what Iím turning to.

Iím turning from...Iím turning to...

What Iím turning from...what Iím turning to...

I turn away from the ways of the world

When I turn to you.

Thereís nothing much left for me now in this world

Since Iíve turned more and more like you

I would turn away from longings

For the things this world can offer me

Turn away from all the things that belong

To the pride that seeks to master me

Iíll turn away fromÝ my worldly way

You told me in your word what I should do

I will cease to cling to what I have turned from-

And pursue what I have turned to.

For I have a pathÝ and a light that lights my way

And I will ever take that path, Iíll never go astray

All I have known and all I have seen

All I have shown and all I have been

Iím turning from these to a much better dream

A dream of deliverance, much more than it seems.

I turn my face from the world and have no regrets

I turn my face away and I want to forget

All Iím turning from and

Remember what Iím turning to.

Iím turning from...Iím turning to...

What Iím turning from...what Iím turning to...
