As I Trust Your Word

As IÝ Trust Your Word

I will trust your word

My security is found in you alone

Your word will be my daily bread

On it my soul will beÝ fed

In the wonder of you word wisdom is known.

I will trust your word

When I have no place left to stand

I will remind myself of what I know

I will reckon it as true although

The questions I may not understand.

As IÝ trust your word

May the words of my mouth begin

And the meditations of my heart shout

And the storms will cease without

And the tumult stops within.

Overwhelmed by your word

Your sufficient grace declared

I will rest on that rock secure

In the knowledge that endures

There is nothing to which you can be compared.
