Candle in the Wind

Candle in the Wind

Like a Candle in the wind, I can set ablaze this world I'm in

I can light the darkness in this den Or I can be blown away

Lord my spirit now ignite That I may shine clear and shine out bright

For in the darkness shines a light that can turn the night to day

Like a candle in the wind,

Though my light may flicker and grown dim

By the Spirit's Fire my flame grows higher and higher

And I may glow brightly again

For it is your aim that this holy flame

Shall shine like a city on a hill

In your holy light blind men find new sight

And their hearts shall blaze to do your will

Lord our hearts all blaze to do your will.

Lord your holy fire burns as our desire

To light up the world with all its glow

Place your fire inside and we'll never hide

The bushel we'll remove so it will show.
