A prayer for this flight

I raise up in a whisper

A song in this dark night

Petitions and praises

Graces future and past

Deep unction in my phrases

At your feet are cast.

I am heading home

Though this world we roam

His light will be our guide

Till we are safe inside.

He Himself is our reward

The road leads homeÝ if we follow hard.

If you lived in Christ you'd be home right now.

He will never leave, he has made a vow

Never to forsake, with us to abide

On the journey home he will be our guide.
