Stranded on a journey in an unfamiliar place

Stranded (Lord of Grace)

Stranded on a journey in an unfamiliar place

Looking for a sympathetic or familiar face

Where does my help come from

This side of Kingdom Come?

I will cast myself upon- the loving Lord of Grace.

Though I may seem stranded I am not alone

I have a sure connection to the places I have known

I call upon the Lord and He will help me

I call upon the Lord, He gives me safety

I will trust in Him for my destiny- for I am not alone.

Though I am far from home

No matter where I roam

Stranded in this lonely place

I will trust the Lord of Grace

Though the circumstance is bad

There is help to be had

Stranded in this lonely place

I will trust the Lord of Grace

Some trust in the movements of this world and its schemes

Some trust in the power of their political machines

While I am in this place

I will learn to trust in grace

And trusting I will see His face-andÝ know what life can mean.

Though I am far from home

No matter where I roam

Stranded in this lonely place

I will trust the Lord of Grace

Though the circumstance is bad

There is help to be had

Stranded in this lonely place

I will trust the Lord of Grace

Written after having my car towed to the dealer in the waiting room-reality check time.

I broke down in a comfy parking lot (not rush hour I -65) and had roadside assistance tow me three miles to the dealer and take me to a nice hotel. The dealer shuttled me to the dealership this morning. Apparently someone had a remote start taken out at some point and the wire broke. With everything else it is still under 500.00 to fix, add sparkplugs,Ý fix a coolant fan and change filters.

It was disappointing not to get to go home last evening after a week away from home, but I am blessed. After purchasing and moving into our home last weekend, I have not yet spent the first night there.Ý I had to immediately go to work dealing with the concerns of the jobÝ in Indy. Earnie will not be there now when I get there, as she left on a short trip with my Mom this morning. There is a spiritual lesson to be learned in this I think.
