Make do with More

Make do with More

We are chosen by His grace

We are aliens and strangers in this place

But as we sojourn

For our home we will yearn

And we will make do with more if we will discern.

Let us make do with more

Until our Lord returns.

We live beneath our privilege

We live upon a razor's edge.

For our desires are not too big

They are far too small

We are far too easily pleased

This side of the fall.

When endless joy is ours to be received

All the blessedness of heaven

If we believe!

Let us Make do with more,

Living our privilege we were intended for

The depths of His riches we will explore

When we learn we can make do with more.

We have not because we ask not

He will not give a stone to his own.

For His sakeÝ we yearn and ache

To display theÝ ways in which weíre blessed.

Why would we want toÝ live with less?

We will live the purpose we were created for

To Godís glory we will make do with more.
