More Sure Word

I will make a covenant with my eyes

To take care of all that I see

And in all my choices I would beware

To seek the truth that sets me free.

I will make a covenant with my heart

That it beat for You alone

And with each evening just as at the start

I will know and make You known.

Lord keep me pure and make me secure

In the hope of your more sure word.

Lord guard my ears and settle my fears

As I meditate on what I have heard.

Lord place your more sure word within me now

So all that I say will be true.
