The Most Beautiful Story

The Most Beautiful Story

In the night dark and long we will lift up a song

As our joy and our pain's expressed.

At the end of that night in the pale morning light

The chorus restores us and we are blessed.

Every cry every sigh joins the song be and bye

Till each heart shall sing along.

For each life's melody-and each heart's harmony

Bears the music for which the world longs.

In the words of this song every note shall belong

To a high symphony of praise

Now this song that we sing is a sweet offering

Declaring and sharing God's wondrous ways

All our voices we'll raise as an anthem of praise

As on our knees we fall

And this sweet offering in the song that we sing's

The most beautiful story of all.

As we sing heavenÝ hears as it falls on man's ear

As we dare to declare our dream

Of a savior so sure, of a hope so secure

The everlasting song of the redeemed

All our voices we'll raise as an anthem of praise

As on our knees we fall

And this sweet offering in the song that we sing's

The most beautiful story of all.

Ever fresh, ever new though familiar it's true

Listen now as we recall,

Still the story goes on, it will never be done

The most beautiful story of all,

The most beautiful story of all...
