Hope and Confidence

Oh we have a hope and we have a confidence

Salvation is found within the Cross

We have a hope- if any man repents

Itís because the Savior paid redemptionís cost.

It is not of us, not of powers on this Earth

But in God we trust and we seek to show His worth

Now the works of our hands

Cannot fulfill the lawís demands

But the perfect sacrifice

God for man and God in Christ

He alone can pay the price of victory.

We have a hope and we have a confidence

That by the will of man it canít be done.

We have a hope and we have the evidence

In the empty tomb the victory was won

Heís alive, He is risen, He has conquered the grave

To His Word we will listen and so we are saved

We have a hope, we have a confidence

A more sure Word from God we have Known

Soon Heíll return as our conquering prince

To rule and reign as God alone

To the soon and coming King

We bring our offering

We bring our lives, circumcise our hearts

Pour out all our dreams

We have a hope, we have a confidence

For His spirit has revealed what life truly means.
