Graverobber

Graverobber

Stillborn to this weary world

Dead before our nativity

Buried in a sea of sin

You gave yourself for sinners

Those dead in trespasses and sin

Dig us out of a burial plot

Raised us upÝ and so we begin

So take me from this unholy place

Graverobber steal my bones by grace
Living in the shadows of the valley of death

Where the evil would take away your breath.

Dry bones are now dancing

The graverobber robs my grave

Dry bones are now set free

He is mighty and mightyÝ to save.

Into the grave you descended

And my incarnate God set me free

So my heart started beating with your heart

The stoneís rolled away

The darkness was invaded

When you shed the glorious light of day.

You accomplished your redemption

Oh horn of our salvation

Israelís consolation
