What are some BENEFITS of using multimedia?

There are several keys :

1. Digital Distribution on the web or via CD/DVD provides a simple form of user interaction, enabling user control of information. Clicking on hyperlinked text or images will allow for downloading digital media.

2. Rich Multimedia content is ubiquitous on the web and on computers. Graphical browsers allow images, audio, video, and animation to be delivered to multiple users for the cost of creating and uploading once. Files can be harvested by the end users for later reproduction or viewing. CD and DVD allow for even richer media experiences.

3. Interactivity allows for interaction between the user and the program. Experiencing interactive content makes an impression on the end user that traditional media cannot provide.
